Where Is Xur Today? (February 3-7) – Destiny 2 Exotic Items And Xur Location Guide

Only a few more weeks remain in Destiny 2‘s current Witch Queen era, but as we head into the most romantic month of the year, Xur is here to offer some early Valentine’s gifts from his rotating inventory of Exotic armor and weapons. Here’s where you can find Xur this weekend and what the Agent of the Nine has for sale.

This week you can find Xur in the EDZ, in the Winding Cove area. For his weapon, Xur is offering Lord of Wolves. Hunters can pick up Raiju’s Harness chest armor; Titans can grab Doom Fang Pauldrons arm armor; and for Warlocks, Xur has Felwinter’s Helm.

Xur Location

Xur’s location in the EDZ

Spawn in at the Winding Cove transmat zone, then hop on your sparrow and go north. Take the collapsed overpass on the left and look for a cave near the bend in the road. Follow the tunnel through the cliff face to reach a higher ridge where a Fallen dropship has crashed; you’ll find Xur waiting there.

Xur is present every weekend in Destiny 2, starting with the daily reset at 9 AM PT / 12 PM ET each Friday. His exact location is always a mystery when he first arrives, as he is not listed on the map, and for novice players, he can be easy to miss. However, there are a set number of locations where he takes up residence, including the Tower Hangar area, on Nessus in Watcher’s Grave, and in the Winding Cove area of the EDZ.

Exotic Weapons

Lord of Wolves

No Caption Provided

Lord of Wolves went through a lot of changes during Season of the Haunted, and the current version is very different from how it used to be. This mostly boils down to numerous tweaks and modifications done by Bungie, but at its core, this is still a great Solar shotgun that does heavy damage up close. Shrapnel Launcher allows it to fire a short burst of rounds, but if you’d prefer to use up an entire magazine in one go, holding down the reload button will let you fire the shotgun in full-auto mode with a greatly increased rate of fire.

Dead Man’s Tale

This week, Dead Man’s Tale is shipping out with Snapshot Sights, which makes aiming down the sights faster. Given that the scout rifle is designed to fulfill a hip-fire role, it’s a perk that doesn’t gel too well with its design, but Accurized Rounds, Fluted Barrel compensate for this week’s roll and give it some long-distance lethality.

Hawkmoon

Hawkmoon this week is okay at best, as its weekly perk is Surplus. You’ll get increased handling, stability, and reload speed for each fully charged ability, but the Alloy Magazine and Arrowhead Break perks are more valuable with this roll. It’s not a bad selection this week, but it’s not a god-roll that fans have patiently been waiting months for.

Exotic Armor

Raiju’s Harness

No Caption Provided

Xur offered this Exotic Hunter armor a few weeks ago, and if you missed it, it’s back in his inventory. This piece of gear is for the Hunter who enjoys using their Arc subclass, as the Mobius Conduit perk allows you to deactivate your Arc Staff Super early and save some of that energy. Guarding while the Arc Staff also consumes Super energy more slowly when not attacking, which means you can stay on the defensive for longer before unleashing an Arc combo.

Doom Fang Pauldrons

It’s another week of gauntlet-shopping for Titans, as Xur is offering the reliable Doom Fang Pauldrons. While there are plenty of great Exotic gauntlets available, Doom Fang Pauldrons is brilliant if you’re planning to build around your Void abilities. Horns of Doom generates Super energy from melee kills, and once you activate your Sentinel Shield Super, melee kills will recharge your Shield Throw. Hurl that overpowered frisbee at enemies and your Super will be extended, giving you a nice cycle of devastating energy for when you need it. This roll has a high Resilience stat as well, perfect for survivability builds.

Felwinter’s Helm

No Caption Provided

Warlocks don’t get up close and personal with enemies often, but Felwinter’s Helm helps to even the playing field with its Warlord’s End perk. Powered melee final blows create bursts of energy that weaken nearby targets, while melee attacks and finishers on more powerful foes will amplify this effect. It’s a risky strategy, but with the right build, using Felwinter’s Helm can clear the room when you wipe the floor with enemies. The Exotic also has a very high Intellect stat, so you’ll be able to quickly charge up your Super.
