kdem: Youth Must Use Tech To Solve Local Issues: Ceo | Mangaluru News – Times of India

Mangaluru: Karnataka Digital Economy Mission (KDEM) CEO Sanjeev Gupta called upon young entrepreneurs to come up with ideas and programmes that can solve local challenges.
He was delivering a talk at the ‘Young Entrepreneurs Meet’ organised by the InUnity Mangaluru, here on Saturday. The InUnity pilot programme was initiated with a vision of identifying young entrepreneurs in Mangaluru, in partnership with Global Alliance for Mass Entrepreneurship (GAME), Confederation of Indian Industry (CII) Mangaluru and KDEM.
Gupta, in his virtual address, said that the KDEM, which is being promoted by the government of India, has a very important pillar for startups and innovation.
“The KDEM stands with the young entrepreneurs in the state. There are a lot of grievances which the society at large are facing, while they interface with the government. There is a website of the department of administrative reforms and public grievances. If you go into this government website, you will be able to find a list of public grievances there,” he said.
